We want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

What we accept

  • Returns, exchanges, or refunds within 30 days of delivery.

  • Contact us within 30 days of delivery to start a return or exchange.

  • Ship items back within 30 days of delivery. If received back in pristine, unused condition (unwashed, unaltered, in original packaging), a refund or exchange will be issued.

No cancellations. If you have any issue with your order, please email sarah@sohandmade.com—we’re happy to help.

Non-returnable items

Unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can’t accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • Digital downloads

Who pays for return shipping?

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

  • If we made an error, we’ll gladly exchange or replace at our cost.

Refunds (when they apply)

Refunds are issued to your original payment method when returned items are received and inspected. We issue refunds for:

  • Faulty items when we’re notified within 30 days of delivery

  • Items returned in pristine, unused condition within the 30-day window

Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable (unless we made an error).

Exchanges

Want a different item or style? Email sarah@sohandmade.com within 30 days and send your item back in unused condition. We’ll confirm availability and next steps.

Damaged, defective, or wrong item

Please email sarah@sohandmade.com within 7 days of delivery with:

  • your order number,

  • a brief description, and

  • clear photos of the issue and packaging.

    We’ll make it right with a replacement, exchange, or refund.

Undeliverable / address issues

If a package is returned to us undelivered (e.g., incorrect or incomplete address entered at checkout), the customer is responsible for any re-delivery costs.

If the address is incorrect and the order has already shipped, we can’t change it or replace the order at our expense. Refunds will not be made for undeliverable packages. Please double-check your address at checkout.

International customers (customs, taxes & tariffs)

International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or tariffs required by their country. These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

If you refuse these charges and the parcel is returned to us, we will refund the item price only (original shipping is non-refundable) once it returns to our studio in original condition. Please mark returns as “Return Goods.” We cannot accept COD returns.

How to start a return

  1. Email sarah@sohandmade.com with your order number and reason.

  2. We’ll share the return address and simple packing instructions.

  3. Ship your item using a trackable service and keep your receipt.

Timing

  • We typically process returns within 5–10 business days of receiving them.

  • Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the refund.
